Discmania USA

Discmania started life in Finland, shipping discs across the Atlantic through Innova’s distribution network. As demand grew, Discmania opened Discmania USA in Southern California, practically next door to Innova’s factory. That arrangement worked fine—right up until Discmania announced new partnerships with Latitude 64 (Sweden) and Yikun (China) in 2018.

To handle three separate product lines (Originals, Evolution, and Active) Discmania moved stateside operations to its own warehouse in Wellington, Colorado at the tail end of 2018. For a few years the Colorado facility handled all U.S. shipping, signature releases, special stamps, gem stones, and those famous Mystery Boxes.

Fast-forward: House of Discs bought Discmania in 2023, and consolidation followed. The Wellington warehouse is now mostly mothballed, and Discmania USA operations have shifted to Dynamic Discs’ massive warehouse in Emporia, Kansas. That same building now distributes every House of Discs brand in the States—Discmania, Latitude 64, Westside, and Kastaplast—making it the new hub for Nordic plastic on U.S. soil.

So if you’re hunting down “Discmania USA” releases, know this:

Old California runs = Innova-made Originals

Colorado Mystery Box era = first Evolution and Active drops

Current stock = shipping out of Dynamic Discs’ HQ in Kansas

And, naturally, you can snag all of it at the best prices right here on DiscountDiscGolf.com—because moving warehouses shouldn’t move the price tag.

Straightest Flying Discmania Discs

Discmania has an excellent selection of straight flying discs across every category—from putters to distance drivers. These are the go-to molds for players who want precision, control, and flights that stay right on target.

Putters

P1 – A super straight, beadless putter with a neutral flight and minimal fade. Perfect for both putting and smooth approach shots.

Sensei – From the Active Line, the Sensei is a glidey, beginner-friendly putter that holds a straight line even on longer throws.

Midranges

MD2 – A workhorse midrange with a smooth, straight flight and a gentle fade. Great for tunnel shots and accurate approaches.

Origin – Slightly understable with lots of glide, the Origin is ideal for finesse throws and gentle turnover lines.

Tailor – A neutral-flying midrange that’s easy to control. Great for newer players and anyone who needs a consistent, point-and-shoot option.

Fairway Drivers

Rockstar – Designed for newer players or slower arms, the Rockstar flies straight with a touch of turn and reliable glide.

FD – One of Discmania’s most popular molds, the FD is known for its straight, glide-heavy flights and minimal fade. Perfect for shaping accurate lines through the woods.

Distance Drivers

TD – A controllable distance driver with a smooth, straight flight and a soft finish. Great for long, accurate drives without requiring big power.

DD1 – A balanced, straight-flying driver that bridges the gap between control and distance. Ideal for players who want consistency without sacrificing glide.

If you're looking to build a bag with reliable, straight-flying discs, these Discmania molds are some of the best you’ll find—available now at prices that won’t curve left or right… just straight down.

Who Makes Discmania Discs?

The story of who makes Discmania discs is as twisty as a flex forehand through a forest, so buckle up.

Discmania originally started not as a disc manufacturer, but as a European distributor for Innova. Eventually, they launched their own line of discs—known today as the Originals Line—which were designed by Discmania but manufactured by Innova in California. The molds were (and still are) owned by Innova. These same molds are now being used by Infinite Discs, who still has a working partnership with Innova.

In 2019, Discmania decided it was time to go global... and independent-ish. They partnered with Latitude 64 in Sweden to launch the Evolution Line, and teamed up with Yikun Discs in China to create the Active Line. So, at that point:

Originals Line = Made by Innova (USA)

Evolution Line = Made by Latitude 64 (Sweden)

Active Line = Made by Yikun (China)

Well, Innova didn’t exactly love the idea of no longer being the exclusive Discmania manufacturer. They raised their prices on Discmania, and that rocky relationship came to an end during the pandemic. Since then, all discs previously made by Innova have become highly sought-after collectibles—the Originals made by Innova are rare, valuable, and no longer in production.

Then, in 2023, Discmania was acquired by House of Discs, the same corporate group that already owns Latitude 64, Dynamic Discs, and Westside. Naturally, that spelled the end of their deal with Yikun, and now the Active Line is being phased out.

The good news? We’ve still got a decent stash of Discmania Active Line discs—but once they’re gone, that’s it. No restocks. So if you’ve been meaning to bag an Astronaut, Shogun, or Magician, now’s your chance before they go extinct like Discmania’s Innova era.
