About TSA
Thought Space Athletics (TSA) was founded by Aaron Wilmot in Maine, originally as a creative design and apparel company. Aaron began by making unique, artistic disc stamps for other brands and selling them at local tournaments and events. His vision was to bring deeper meaning, philosophy, and bold artwork into the sport—something that felt missing from the mainstream.
As TSA’s stamp designs gained popularity, Aaron took things a step further. In 2019, he partnered with MVP Disc Sports to manufacture original TSA discs using MVP’s injection molding expertise. The first disc, the Mantra, launched that year and marked the beginning of TSA’s expansion into a full-fledged disc golf brand with its own lineup of molds and plastics.
Since then, Thought Space has developed a growing catalog of discs including popular molds like the Praxis, Pathfinder, Animus, and Construct. They offer a range of premium plastics such as Ethos, Aura, and Ethereal—each designed for distinct feel and performance. TSA is known not only for their high-quality discs, but also for their stunning stamp artwork that often blends cosmic, spiritual, and nature-inspired themes.
Today, TSA is considered one of the fastest-growing and most beloved newer brands in disc golf. Their discs are trusted by pros like Matt Bell, Thomas Gilbert, and James Proctor, and they're a favorite among casual and competitive players alike who want a disc that performs great and looks even better. Thought Space Athletics continues to combine artistry and functionality in a way that truly stands out in the disc golf world.
Where are Thought Space Athletic Discs Made?
Thought Space Athletics (TSA) is a disc golf brand, not a manufacturer. While they create all their own stamp artwork and select plastics, the discs themselves are made by trusted manufacturing partners.
The majority of TSA’s drivers and midranges are produced by MVP Disc Sports, using MVP’s high-quality single-mold plastic blends like Neutron, Proton, and Ethos. It’s important to note that these TSA discs do not use MVP’s overmold or Gyro technology—they are traditional single-mold discs.
TSA’s putters, such as the Praxis, Muse, and Pneuma, are made elsewhere—including by a local plastic manufacturer in Maine that had not previously made disc golf discs. This partnership allows TSA to support local production while offering grippy, base-style plastics like Nerve that many players prefer for putting and approach shots.
In 2025, TSA began partnering with Discraft to produce new molds including the Expanse, Persona, Vessel, and Requiem, further expanding their lineup and manufacturing base. So while Thought Space doesn’t manufacture discs themselves, they’ve built a loyal following by combining premium materials, top-tier artwork, and smart partnerships with some of the best disc makers in the game.
A Unique Stamp for Every Run
One thing that sets Thought Space Athletics apart is their approach to disc design—they don’t do stock stamps. Every run, plastic variation, and special edition features its own unique, full-art stamp, often covering the entire stampable surface of the disc. These designs are typically done in three-foil configurations, layering metallic colors to create elegant, detailed artwork that truly stands out on the course—or on your wall.
Because each run is treated like its own piece of art, no two batches are exactly the same. That means if you find a TSA disc you love—both for how it flies and how it looks—you should probably stock up. There’s a good chance that particular stamp, foil combo, or even feel won’t be back again. TSA’s commitment to visual creativity is one of the reasons they’ve built such a loyal fanbase among collectors and throwers alike.
