About the Divergent Discs Lawin

Lawin means "Eagle" and this high speed driver is designed to help recreational disc golfers soar past the 300 foot distance barrier. The Lawin can achieve a full S-Curve flight path with moderate power. If the Basilisk becomes too flippy, then the Lawin is the next disc to add to the bag. With its domey profile it also provides excellent glide to carry a few extra feet at the end of its flight.

Plastic Type

Max Life is a translucent premium plastic blend. This blend provides a flexible disc that withstands damage, maintaining its original flight for longer than other non-premium plastics.

MaxValue is an affordable basic plastic blend, providing a phenomenal tack and comfortable grip. This blend does wear and break in more quickly than other premium plastic blends. It's an economical way to try new discs, or have discs with excellent grip.

Max Grip Plastic is one of the grippiest disc golf plastic blends on the market. It combines a soft feel with excellent grip for comfort and top notch performance. The grip compares with popular K1 plastic by Kastaplast with durability similar to the original Discraft X plastic. Max Grip plastic discs tend to have more dome than the same mold in different plastic versions.

MaxGrip UV is a fun version of the popular MaxGrip blend. This plastic offers the same great grip of normal MaxGrip, but has the added feature of changing colors in the sunlight!

MaxFlex plastic is a more flexible version of the popular MaxGrip blend. This plastic is designed to minimize ground play and perform well in cold and wet conditions.

Max Grip Glow Plastic combines the feel and durability of Max Grip with excellent grip for comfort and top notch performance with the added ability to glow in the dark. Max Grip Glow adds a glow-in-the-dark feature for night rounds and is seasonally released in limited quantities.

    Understable and Great for Beginner Distance

    Was great when I first started using it to get good straight distance. Now that my arm speed and disc rotation is higher, it tends to fly under stable into the right. This is good for those shots that seems like you would need a forehand for, but you can use backhand to still go right. Not the most durable disc, as mine has a lot of gouges already, but I tend to gravitate towards trees.

    Awesome driver

    This was my first Divergent driver. I got it in a mystery box. It quickly became one of my favourites. It’s easy to throw and it’s become one of the longest drivers in my bag. It’s the Max Grip Glow and it’s truly snow white. I found out the hard way not to throw the white one in the snow. This disc convinced me to try another couple of Divergent Drivers. Bought a Basilisk and Kraken and love them both as well.
