About Innova

Innova Disc Golf is the most recognized and widely used disc golf brand in the world. Founded in 1983, Innova was the first company established specifically to design and produce discs for the sport of disc golf. Based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Innova revolutionized the game with the release of the Eagle, the first disc to feature a beveled edge—setting the standard for all modern disc golf drivers.

Since that early innovation, Innova has led the way in disc development, manufacturing, and professional sponsorships. Today, they boast over 175 PDGA-approved molds, with new designs added each year. Not every mold is still in active production, and some are too obscure or slow-moving for us to carry here at Discount Disc Golf. But if you're looking for rare or out-of-stock molds, you can find the full lineup—including every plastic variation—at InfiniteDiscs.com, where every current Innova disc is available.

At Discount Disc Golf, we focus on stocking the most popular, proven, and best-priced Innova discs, so you can count on finding the discs that players are actually throwing—at prices that are hard to beat.

Innova also developed the now-standard four-number flight rating system (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade), giving players a better understanding of how discs behave in flight. They were early adopters of offering multiple plastic blends for the same mold, including the widely used DX, Pro, Champion, and Star plastics.

Their influence goes beyond their own lineup. Innova has served as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for several other disc golf brands, producing discs for Discmania, Millennium, and Infinite Discs. Many of the sport’s most iconic players, including Ken Climo and Juliana Korver, made their mark throwing Innova molds.
