About the Divergent Discs Alpas

The Alpas by Divergent Discs is a very unique putt and approach disc made in flexible silicone rubber material that Divergent calls StayPut. The disc will more successfully "Stay Put" when it hits the ground, lessening the skips and slides. It can be used as an understable approach disc to get through tight fairways without needing to throw hard, or it can be used as a putter for players who like a shallow rim and a flat disc profile. It is a great choice as an all-around starter disc for new players, or as a specialty disc for experienced players.

Plastic Type

Graphic StayPut includes a full-color image on the disc for decorative effect.

StayPut is a silicone rubber blend used to help acheive amazing grip and flexibility without sacrificing durability and long-lasting performance. It will "Stay Put" more easily than typical plastic blands, avoiding unwanted skips and slips on the course.

StayPut Glow is an ultra flexible silicone blend with amazing grip and flexibility. StayPut Glow not only reduces unwanted skips and rolls, but also glows in the dark allowing you to play disc golf around the clock. This bright green blend provides excellent visibility for both day and night time disc golf rounds.

StayPut UV is a unique plastic blend. This is an ultra soft silicone that is not only designed to absorb the ground like normal stay put plastic, but the UV version makes the disc change color in sun light. Indoors, StayPut UV appears like a typical white disc, but the second it is exposed to sunlight it changes into multiple brilliant colors.

Flew kinda ok on hyzer. Definitely does not stay put. Rolls easily and quite firm.

The Princess

Just love this disc. I have it in glow and it holds it’s glow quite well even a bit longer then my Innova Champion glow discs. This disc gets thrown day or night and has become my go to putter and is often used for shorter drives and approach shots up to 200’. I play mostly heavily treed courses and this discs doesn’t have a scratch. I’ve played almost a dozen snow rounds with it down to -10C and it held up! It’s amazing to hear it hit the trees and simply bounce off without barely a sound. I’m sure the trees appreciate it. As an approach disc it does exhibit the stay-put feature and doesn’t skip away like other discs. Once you get to the basket it really does seem to grip the chains nicely. My partners are talking about it quite a bit now and everyone wants to touch it. It’s become known as “the Princess” amongst my playing partners and even some of the course locals who I don’t normally play with have asked to see it.
